The starfury is an awesome design and clearly designed in a universe where physics work correctly. I love vectored thrust in games, I think the starfury is awesome, but it definitely has the same basic shape as an x-wing with it's nose chopped off, which is even more obvious in the Thunderbolt variant which really looks like an angry x-wing :D

Feb 22, 2023 · Starfury has always been pretty busted, but the new tweaks made it even more powerful. I'd go as far as to say that it's the most powerful pre-hardmode sword in the game, after Night's Edge, Volcano, Muramasa and maybe Bee Keeper.

Each time you chip away, the stone gets cleaner and cleaner until you need to reclick as it disappears/reappears. the set effect message is "the starborn power of your armor cleanses the stone without chipping it". Just be sure they're all starfury outfit not starfire, and have cape as well.

Mainly because each hit have the potential of hitting 3 times. Your normal strike deals normal damage, and the two falling stars each deals the crit damage. I had a starfury with double damage dealt/taken and I obliterated Conjunctivius. These extra hits by the stars stacks real quick.

Feb 13, 2022 · To be honest, the starfury is often considered the best sword for pre-hardmode, since true melee weapons aren’t great. You could try using an enchanted sword if you struggle with aiming the stars, though.

Aug 2, 2023 · I don't play starfury, but when I do, I combine it with Throwable Objects to keep enemies disabled while stars are falling. Suspecting Support might work better that Point Blank, because it would also enhance shots falling on remote enemies.
