Sep 19, 2006 · Generally you will use roller cams for roller rocker valve train application... if you switch the valve train - meaning rocker arms, springs(?), valves, adjusters, it would be ideal to transfer cams meant for the roller application because the cams have a different radius ratio and account for the difference in valve height.
