Nov 29, 2010 · Just picked up an STR-6120 yesterday. Yes, beautiful piece. Built like a tank! Powers up and picks up radio reception (as per dials) but no sound. Had a friend open it up last night and inspect it. Found a burnt 5A glass fuse on the underside (had to remove bottom plate). He's in the process of repairing it. Will keep you updated.

Jul 5, 2007 · The 6120 in the short listening persion did not get me involved as well with the music but had better resolution and got more out of the source material. Of note was on a jazz station, it was easy to identify when they played a record as the record noise was evident. With the 6060 the noise level was buried far deeper and less noticable.
