Jan 4, 2022 · The Sonetto II volume is the largest at ~1334 cu in. Is that going to make a major impact, worth the $700 upcharge (new) over the Sonetto I? Regardless, I cannot afford $2500 new for the Sonetto II, so would definitely have to search for used, and in black. That could take a long while I imagine.

Jan 4, 2022 · Lumina II: really excellent, much "bigger" presence than the Lumina I and even gives very little away to the Sonetto I. Definitely worth the cost increase vs Lumina I. Sonetto I: I do prefer the larger size, the lute shape, and the piano black finish of Sonetto over Lumina.

Feb 25, 2019 · So the two contenders (I have heard both in shops 2 or 3 times) are Sf Lumina II, Sf Sonetto I, and Vandersteen VLR Wood. Spendor A-1 and ProAc also come highly recommended but I will not buy a speaker I cannot first listen to in a shop and then in my home.

Mar 18, 2022 · I have seen some measures for the Sonetto on a couple threads. I wonder if that line, being front ported, will be more forgiving with placement than Kef R's. Sonus Faber seems to have the tendency to highlight high frequencies, but I do not know how well their speakers can be flattened with EQ.
