Founded in 1972, SOMA is the world’s oldest high-school-run Model UN conference and Canada’s largest. Welcoming 600+ delegates to the University of Toronto’s St. George campus annually, SOMA’s mission is to develop delegates into mature global citizens.

At SOMA, delegates gain a keen awareness of international relations within the wider community as well as a deep insight into the dynamics and inner mechanisms of the United Nations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies.
