Oct 29, 2022 · I've played through Snatcher, and I'm still working on Policenauts. The Policenauts world seems a lot larger and more detailed in comparison. But Snatcher seems to have the better pacing, and a more appealing theme and art direction overall. Some people say it's too short, but I think that's its strength. There's never a dull moment in Snatcher.

Jul 28, 2014 · Snatcher really is worth the effort of digging up to play. It's the perfect mix of Kojima's storytelling and dopey comedy in my mind (whereas MGS tends to lean towards seriousness with occasional humor).

This is if Kojima wrote his own script of Blade Runner. You play an amnesiac Junker, a special police that hunts hunts Snatchers, robots who kill humans and steal their bodies.

Jan 4, 2023 · Second is the games do not usually have many English characters embedded, so the romhack has to either import new fonts into the game, or cut up bits of the kana to look like english characters. From what I remember the only English in the game is all caps, JUNKER HQ, SNATCHER, etc, so that makes re-using the english letters unappealing design ...

Nov 26, 2022 · My vote is snatcher for sega cd and policenauts for Saturn. I’ve always heard that ps1 policenauts is perfectly fine if you can’t get a Saturn. The fan translation for Saturn is great, and I like the voice acting in snatcher on sega cd. The msx soundtrack has some bangers though, so definitely look that up on YouTube or something.

I am seeing on CD Romance that they have Snatcher on PS1 but it is in Japanese :( I agree that best bet for English Snatcher is Sega CD. I also agree that you can rock with the translated Policenauts on Saturn as well as PS1 which is my preference since my computer seems to have issues emulating Saturn. Good luck!

Nov 26, 2023 · SNATCHER and Policenauts are two really interesting adventure games directed by Kojima. It is surprising that they never got properly released in a double pack digitally these days. There's a bit of iffy in em, but if you're a Kojima fan, they're really cool. Read Only Memories is basically a re-done SNATCHER but only with a more satisfying ending.

Dec 18, 2018 · I got Snatcher to work with RetroX, but RetroX only works with an online connection and I plan to play this offline (long flights, etc.). I don't exactly know where to find the extra files (BIOS files?) and where to put them to make SEGA CD to work.

The Snatcher has a jokers collar, not hair, not to also metion that the Snatcher is bald. Really, while the princes silhouette still has hair and bangs. As much as you would have to look closely our prince's silhouette and Snatcher here have two different heads, not to mention the body. Snatcher does not have legs. Mr. Princey does.

May 15, 2016 · So I am looking at the game recently for the purpose of review and I am conflicted, Snatcher has been released on multiple platforms: Sega CD, MSX, TurboGrafx-16, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PC-8800 Series, Sega Genesis, MSX2, TurboGrafx-CD Now, people usually tell me that the Sega CD version is the best but what about the PlayStation port?
