Feb 23, 2022 · I don't usually use a ton of ladders in Skull Caverns, not because I think they're bad, just because I find placing 100+ ladders less fun than blowing stuff up to get down. But I won't go out of my way for iridium until I see several nodes close to each other, which generally happens around the 70-100 range. Usually I end up with 250-350 iridium.

Oct 13, 2023 · One of the biggest tips I recommend is bomb materials. You can spend a single day in the mines and get yourself maybe 250-300 iron ore and 50 coal. This will make 50 bombs but because of the resources in skull cavern you only end up with a small deficit every run.
