Apr 13, 2011 · The man who built the car was by reputation a very capable engineer so perhaps he breathed on it. The only non Singer part on the car is the gearbox which is a Triumph Herald unit - that probably helps a bit as you don't have to count to 10 when changing from first to second gears! Jul 7, 2014 · 1930s Singer Sports Cars AND Singer car data book. I am shocked at how much incredible information is in these 2 books and I will easily recommend them to ANY Singer owner. These 2 books should be required reading for ALL pre-war Singer owners, there is some post-war information also but this is a gold mine of pre-war information

Jul 10, 2013 · The Morgan Factory is just 8 miles from me and there tends to be quite a bit of visiting Morgan car traffic. I suspect they feel their car is an individual "modern" and relate. My over the field neighbour is their three wheeler tester and and quality control engineer. He has no problem in waving at me - usually because he wants a pint!

Apr 19, 2020 · I have a speedo from a rolled car without the dial / needle, bits of one with a trip meter and a working one. By looking at the bits sequence is bezel with glass off the front. two screws ,plus any washers on the threaded studs (weird thread) from the rear. outer case should then come off toward the cable drive.
