Jun 19, 2023 · With a Shotkam 3 that limit is about the distance from the High House to the about 15 feet past the low house on a Skeet Field. That is about 135 feet or 45 yards. Cannot state how much distance is gained with the higher resolution Shotkam 4 but I would expect that it will resolve the shot string out to 70 yards or more.

May 24, 2019 · I have the Shotkam and also coach SCTP. The Shotkam is great and performs a great service in being able to truly identify what the kids are doing. The biggest draw back is the set up time for each new shooter and the fact that as soon as little Sara or Timmy miss a bird they or their parents expect you to set them up with the Shotkam and diagnose .

Jan 12, 2013 · The ShotKam goes into sleep mode fairly quickly, and with the gun type as Automatic, dropping a shell in the port and allowing it to chamber normally brings the ShotKam into Active mode. I then put a shell in the magazine for the second single.

Dec 29, 2023 · I ordered Shotkam yesterday and will give it a try. It is a pricey toy but with all I have spent on guns and ammo it's really a drop in the bucket. Hopefully it will provide some good information.

Jun 11, 2018 · Hap - the shotkam will be here tomorrow and I figure we can set up and be ready for business by the weekend. I’ll do the western classes and you can handle the eastern classes. Couldn’t be simpler, we’ll set up the shotkam and then show the shooter his results.

Aug 30, 2019 · It gives you more information than Shotkam and is easier to set up. I am waiting to see if they make any revisions to the device before buying one. I did get to talk with one of the engineers that designed it and made a couple of suggestions that would be helpful especially from a coaching standpoint.

Jan 26, 2025 · I love my Shotkam for really being able to study what's going on with my s.c. shooting. Someone other than the best of shooters standing behind you can be unreliable as to why you're missing (I've found), but w/ the Shotkam, I can stop, go into wifi mode and look at the last few shots on my phone to see what's going on.

Feb 9, 2023 · What the ShotKam will tell you is where your barrel was at the time of the shot and what speed it was travelling relative to the target. From this you can tell whether you lifted your head, looked at the bead and slowed down the gun or simply misread the line of the target.

Mar 13, 2016 · The ShotKam has an auto on/off feature and some other adjustments that allow more fine tuning to their videos. My question, to those who've used or are familiar with gun cams is: Is the $500 difference in cost of the ShotKam over the iON cam worth the money for the extra features offered?
