Rain held the nation of Argos in an iron grip for years following her deposing of her father, the King Casedius. Eastern sergal are the most common kind of sergal, found all over Tal and as members of most sergal communities. Western sergal are currently so rare as to be considered extinct by some scholars, due to the actions of General Rain.

Rain Silves (レイン・シルヴェス) is female Northern Sergal mutant, and the Supreme Commander of the Shigu, known across Vilous as the "Great General Rain." She is one of the central characters of the canon story and by far the most famous person from the entire world setting of Vilous.

Bergt is also a primitive, pure Northern Sergal. His fur is white and a more dark grey, and his eyes also bear a more common grey of the North. He also sports a red tattoo signifying his love for Rain, though where it is located is unknown at the moment.
