They must be well nourished and feeding is the challenge with this grouping of seahorse. They live in shallow waters which are subject to tidal changes making them adaptive to water movement in the aquarium although low to moderate flow is best.

May 2, 2017 · Good corals to choose for a seahorse tank are leathers, palys, zoas, most mushrooms, xenia, green star polyp, clove polyps, duncans, blastos, pagoda cup, and gorgonians. Most of these are hardy and will thrive in cooler water temperatures. Most macroalgae are seahorse safe and will also do well in water temperatures suitable for ponies.

He kept both the large and dwarf species. So although I only kept Erectus seahorses, I read a lot about his dwarf seahorses, which is where I learned most of what I know.
