Jun 25, 2020 · My Scar 20 is ridiculously accurate, and so my thinking is a 16 inch version would scratch the itch of wanting a 16 inch 308 rifle, but not using the light barrel Scar 17. Id also swap the stock for the standard folding setup, then I basically have a bad ass looking full rail 16 inch Scar with sub MOA accuracy and a heavier profile barrel.

Just the visual appeal of the 20 when you have it totally completed, with a nightforce, the Harris bipod, the “only brand of silencer to ever buy besides KAC if you have a sr 25 or sr 15” SUREFIRE !

Nov 4, 2024 · I like the SB Ultra Short 3-20 T3 on the SCAR. Works great. But since I don’t do any LR stuff with it, and mostly use it at night with a clip-on, the 1-10 G3 Razor is titties. Keeps the ounces down, and my poor, old frame hates ounces. The MK5HD 3.8-18 is even lighter, and 18x is as much as I’ll ever need.

Mar 10, 2019 · The 17 comes with a 1.5mm and the 20 comes with a 1.4mm. The size difference comes from the longer barrel having more dwell time. I’ve run the 20 as low as a 1.15mm and it cycles fine thus far. Can is a Silencerco Omega and I run 7.62 milsurp through the 17 and GMM through the 20. Oct 19, 2021 · We have sold a lot (I mean a lot) of 6.5 CM Scar 20s' and not seen any problems with the primers, but I have heard this before. My guess is it was a bat firing pin in a small number of rifles. Glad you got it fixed. You should be expect 3/4 MOA give or take on that rifle. It is a sniper grade gas gun, but it is also a Scar.
