Aug 19, 2021 · Cooperative Producers Inc. will provide live grain engulfment and rescue simulations at Husker Harvest Days on Lot 53 during the show. The training will be provided by the Safety and Technical Rescue Association (SATRA).

Students become qualified to make bin entry, be a bin entry attendant, and be part of a rescue team. They will also meet the training requirement for OSHA 1910.272 – Grain Handling Standard

“Prevention and elimination of grain bin entrapments will continue to be our primary focus, but because people do become entrapped in grain, the program will discuss and demon-strate the best techniques for their safe re-moval,” Danner said.
