Sanming (Chinese: 三明; pinyin: Sānmíng, Foochow Romanized: Săng-mìng), also known as Minzhong (simplified Chinese: 闽中; traditional Chinese: 閩中), is a prefecture-level city in western Fujian province, China.

Sanming, city, west-central Fujian sheng (province), southeastern China. It lies along the Sha River, a southern tributary of the Min River, the valley of which provides the chief southwest-to-northeast route through central Fujian.

Jan 25, 2017 · It mainly consists of Taoyuan Cave, Baizhang Cliff, Slender Bamboo Bay, Ge-li Valley and Peach Blossoms Pool. The Cave was developed in the Song Dynasty, popular in the Ming Dynasty, but badly damaged in the early Qing Dynasty. In 1979, Sanming Municipal Government began to renovate it.
