UMSL is in the process of deconstructing the Social Science and Business (SSB) Tower as part of the SSB Modernization and Expansion project. This work will create space for a new building expansion, which will house the College of Education and the Honors College.

Nov 4, 2024 · Across from Lucas Hall and connected to Express Scripts Hall is the Social Sciences and Business Building. The College of Business Administration is located in this building along with their Advising offices.

May 1, 2024 · As part of this work, UMSL Facilities is working on a plan to deconstruct the Social Science and Business Building (SSB) Tower to make way for the SSB Modernization and Expansion. Currently, the SSB Tower has the only elevator supporting the SSB Building.
