The reason why it was so reasonable was because of the ancient car it was based on. If you look at the Caliber you can now get an R/T version up over $20k and the SRT-4's optioned-up start to climb over $25k.

Dec 13, 2003 · If money is not a problem go with the STI. The SRT-4 comes with only 205 tires on a 6 inch wide wheel. The SRT-4 is also missing drive to the rear wheels. I replaced my stock wheels and tires with some 225 Falken Azenis and wider wheels and the Neon SRT-4 feels way better now. The STi WRX looks way better than the standard wrx.

Feb 20, 2004 · The SRT-4 handles very well but pales in comparison to what an MSP can do. The MSP's ablity in the twisties will leave you speechless. The interior is pretty nice as well though the seats have piss poor support. The SRT-4 will make you smile like an idiot every time you get on the gas. The seats are terrific.
