Nov 27, 2015 · My SR45 has been completely flawless with about 400 rounds of various ammo through it. No failures of any kind. You might wish to clean out the firing pin/striker channel, which can get gunked up from factory grease and lube & could cause light primer strikes.

May 16, 2013 · The SR45 is a very smooth and confident shooting pistol, you can literally shoot it all day long, if you can afford it. The SR45 shoots much flatter than the RIA compact, it also shoots much flatter than my fathers SR1911, I can get on target much faster with the SR45.

Jun 23, 2013 · SR45 is also really tight, for the first 200 rounds it would not cycle with a full mag and one in the chamber and now after 350 rounds it is still really hard to rack slide with a full mag. When it was new it was not possible to rack slide with full mag and was hard to seat mad in pistol when full, it is almost like it should have been a 9+1 ...

Feb 15, 2015 · The SR45 is a very good platform for shooting the 45 caliber ACP round. Mine shoots as accurately as my Colt Gold Cup 1911, which is a bit of embarrassment given the disparity in cost. Plus the SR platform is just so darned easy to clean and maintain, although the 1911 is pretty easy to clean and maintain too.

Dec 19, 2012 · Finally have what appears to be a dialed -in SR45 ! Ruger sent me another magazine so I now have 3. Went to the range earlier this week and fired another 250 rounds. (50 CCI, 100 Winchester 230gr FMJ, 100 UMC 230 gr FMJ) For a total of now 750 rounds in 3 trips since taking ownership 2 months ago.

May 21, 2015 · Took my May 2015 built SR45 to the range yesterday and had issues right from jump street. Neither mag will hold open the slide stop. Both mags are incredibly easy to load - too easy!
