Jul 20, 2017 · I contacted SLR and asked if I could send them all my parts and have them build me an upper with one of their hand guards and one of their uppers, and they said absolutely. Not only that, but the price they quoted me at was so unbelievable. Basically they were charging me for the upper ($115), the handguard, and building it for nothing.

Jun 2, 2023 · 1st SLR rail Ive personally owned. Criteria was as strong and as light as I can get with strong anti rotation and a close fitment with a 13.9 w/ SF SF3P. Compared to SBR with a hodge wedgelock, the finish is duller and more matte/less smooth (think the finish of a scalarworks mount vs a larue mount), the edges of the top pic rail are a tad sharper.

Is there a handguard & gas tube rail from SLR that fits the PSA AK-104? If it helps anyone, SLR replied to an email and said the following:

Jan 24, 2017 · I have no experience with that specific handguard (I'm assuming it's the same as any other FF handguard), but you don't have to remove the gas block to remove the handguard. Loosen and remove the two mounting screws for the handguard (the ones at the 6 o'clock nearest the receiver) and then pull the handguard off.
