Mar 21, 2020 · Well 20 hours on my new Kubota M7060 and my Suction Control Valve went bad. Tractor will not start. My local dealer is great, got the part in 3 days and should have it up and running soon. Any other Kubota Owners having trouble with this?

The Suction Control Valve (SCV) is an actuator in the common rail system regulating the fuel pressure inside the delivery pipe (rail). When the SCV is damaged, the fuel pressure needed by the engine will vanish.

All operations in California related to the SCV Brand have ceased and were moved to the SCV Valve, LLC manufacturing complex in Santa Fe, TX. As a part of the agreement, Southern California Valve canceled their API 6D & API 6A licenses and no longer manufactures valves.

The Suction Control Valve or SCV is responsible for the control of fuel pressure inside common rail engines. It allows only the required amount of fuel to be pumped through the system. The SCV is a wear item, that is a good part to cross off your list of things to do – just like a cam / timing belt.
