The time is fast approaching for me to pull the engine apart and build it up to handle boost. I realize that specific internals that need to be replaced will depend on power goals and i would like to shoot for around 500hp.

Feb 15, 2004 · I believe the 1.8 and 1.9L are the same engine. There's a good number of people running turbos on the 318s. There's a SC or two Z3 1.9s here (J1OB). A turbo would be an interesting project. None of the FI kits I've seen for the "M" Powered Zs are exactly on the economical end of the spectrum.
