In Street Fighter this move is mainly used as an Anti-Air. With a good read, one could Anti-Air with this move and, at worst, trade with an opponent's attack. It is Ryu's most damaging Smash Attack.

Feb 12, 2014 · Ryu Hayabusa is the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden action series which debuted on the NES as well as a main character in the Dead or Alive fighting game series. In Ninja Gaiden, Ryu is on a quest for revenge against those that hurt his father, his village, etc and utilizes the Dragon Sword and various other ninja tools to achieve this end.

Several Smash Attacks are more easily punished than this move, and this is more dangerous and comes out faster than so many of them. Ryu is a very fun character and I really enjoy playing him.

He has above average weight being the 14th heaviest character and above average damage output while also having below average ground and air speed. Ryu is a character that just exudes confidence. Mar 29, 2017 · Ryu is the most unique character to ever be included in a Smash Bros. game so far. He does not play like any other Smash character in Smash 4. Ryu has aspects from both Street Fighter (SF) and Smash 4. Like in SF, Ryu in Smash 4 has Specials that can be activated via Inputs and if used, will reward you with a stronger Special.
