Oct 3, 2020 · In the original manga, ritual cards act on a certain monster, so magician of black chaos is a version of dark magician powered up by the black illusion rituals sacrifices. In my opinion there's two reasons, and they both have to do with Ritual Summoning in general.

Oct 16, 2017 · No, it's the Ritual that's "Magician of Black Chaos" in OCG. DMoC is "Konton no Kuromajutsushi". So that anon is right, DMoC is neither a "Dark Magician" nor a "Chaos" (Kaosu) monster. The "Chaos" in DMoC's name uses "Konton" instead.

Mar 26, 2025 · Dark Magician of Chaos was DM support by the way. That much was mad plain through the spell card Dedication through Light and Darkness which literally E-telly the DMoC to the field from hand deck or GY by tributing a DM.

Sep 25, 2021 · Ritual will be summoned via ARA since it puts DM in GY pre-Verte and Souls puts DMG in GY so you can draw 2 with Soul Servant. Rod-Circle-Field Spell/Soul Servant is definitely the Normal Summon line of play.
