Apr 27, 2024 · Just got my riffmaster today for xbox. Pleased to say I was satisfied with everything, but the USB dongle for Xbox and no auto calibration built in. The frett bottons feel a lot better than the strat. Quiet and feels good. The strum bar is very similar to the strat, but it does feel more responsive and less wobbly feeling (which was nice).

Jun 26, 2024 · Brand new xbox riffmaster out of the box not connecting to the dongle. Did all the troubleshooting steps on pdp's website and still no luck. Any way I can fix this? EDIT: I have found a way of resetting the driver and fixing the guitar. If you have Steam, make sure you check Controller settings and uninstall Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver.

395 votes, 114 comments. true. While very pricey, there is a legit alternative for drums: E-kit (either alesis nitro or Simmons Titan 50 in the $300-$400 price range) + $100 Roll Limitless.

I'm still waiting on my Riffmaster to arrive in the mail but in the meantime I'm curious if anyone has used it with the Roll Limitless to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero on older consoles, particularly Xbox 360. I'm assuming it would likely work without issue since they use a USB dongle but I wanna know if anyone here has tested functionality yet.

Apr 28, 2024 · Riffmaster Bought 2 ps5 riffmasters to play with my kids. The one controller will randomly stop responding mid song and have to disconnect/reconnect, however, will drop again shortly after.

Jun 2, 2024 · Hey guys, I'm trying to see if anyone has any ideas here. I wanted to test out my new riffmaster on Clone Hero so I used the RB4InstrumentMapper to change the drivers to work with CH. Everything worked great no problems.

Menu/View buttons are going to take some getting used to. I have muscle memory built up over years of using Strats. I may get there someday with the Riffmaster, but I have to stop playing, look down at the guitar, and figure out which button is which. The "nut" of the guitar (to borrow terminology from real guitars) seems a bit sharp.

I like the clickiness of the frets a lot, strum bar is mushy which at first annoyed me but after a few hours of play I got used to it, honestly now I prefer the quietness of the Riffmaster's bar. I have noticed when alt strumming if I end on an upstrum it will occasionally overstrum, for me this isn't a huge issue bc I miss notes either way but ...
