Riesling is the most underrated of all wines : r/wine - Reddit
Riesling is not underrated within the context of winemakers, somms, sales people, etc. We love Riesling and we understand its ability to convey time and place in a way other varietals fall short. Within the context of the greater wine-buying public Riesling generally is underrated. I attribute that more to ignorance than anything else.
Food pairings for Riesling that aren't all spicy : r/wine - Reddit
Jun 30, 2021 · Riesling and fried chicken might be my favorite pairing. If the Riesling isn't spicy, I prefer Kabinett (to get that sweet/salty thing going), but dry wine would probably work too. Sushi and other seafood (I prefer it with lighter seafood usually) Mexican food (even if it's not spicy) Duck Thai and Chinese food, even if not spicy.

Jul 11, 2023 · I like the DRY Riesling. Lower RS than their regular Riesling. For $10, pretty decent stuff. High acidity that I crave with nice lemon, citrusy, green apple on the palate. It’s not going to blow your mind, but on a hot summer day, nice to have a crisp/refreshing glass. My score:88. If that means anything lol

The riesling game right now is all about stone fruit, minerality, and petrol. That's why Mosel, the Finger Lakes, and Alsace are seeing a huge uptick.

Top/Biggest Riesling Producers recommendations (German
Aug 14, 2022 · Right now for dry Riesling Klaus Peter Keller and Philipp Wittmann are probably the top producers in Germany. For sweet Riesling – besides Egon Müller – JJ Prüm is the biggest name in the game. There are plenty of other great producers but as far as I can see those are the names most sought after in the German market.
