Dec 13, 2004 · No they are different, the pulse red is a little darker and a great color. All most like a blood red color. There are some pictures of a GTO posted on another forum, those pictures must have been taken in the shade because the red is not as dark as in the pictures. Im deciding today as to get one or wait for the 05s.

May 18, 2022 · Does not have the "GTO" decal. I have another factory photo in red that does not have the "GTO" decal. I don't see any mention of the "GTO" decal as part of the standard badging : "GTO grille badges, right hand deck lid badges, a V-shaped badge behind each front wheel well opening, a Pontiac arrowhead nose emblem."

Jan 18, 2006 · I have now looked closely at the paint of more GTO's than I care to remember and seems like the Spice Red has a much worse problem. When looking at the paint, there is a ghosting effect and looks as if the paint is pinkish/white in color. Well, 2 dealers have tried the heat gun fix for me and this fix didn't totally clear up this problem.

Oct 16, 2008 · I have a matching numbers 1969 GTO 4-speed convertible, that is phs documented to be original carousel red. The numbers agree. when i bought the car i saw that number and thought is was a judge, cause a GTO book says if it was carousel red it is a judge, but i know better now, but it has to be rare.

Mar 25, 2009 · I wouldn't go so far as saying red is my least favorite color, I reserve that for brown's, tan's and gold wouldn't be too far behind. Green is right up there too. But I do agree a red interior is VERY red. It looks well together with the black, but, may drive you buggy after driving it awhile.
