Sep 5, 2023 · As an ally on Skull Rock, I'm pleased to see we make up at least 44% of the server. Servers are best when faction split is about 50-50 imo, but its posts like this that cause people to all swarm into the higher pop faction and swing it totally out of balance.

Why not simply add a server with the same name but 2 on it and enable free transfers between servers. heck you could even enable cross realm with only those 2 servers. then use layers for high pop zones like they are doing now anywase for example benediction1 and benediction 2 this would clear up any issues with ques and would allow people to ...

Feb 7, 2023 · I need some help choosing a realm. What is the difference between "New Player" realms and normal realms. Also, what are "RP" realms. Is there much gameplay difference between "high", "medium" and "low" populated servers. Lastly, should I consider the alliance/horde ratio before creating a character?

Jun 4, 2024 · Realm is becoming less important these days since almost everything is cross realm and cross faction, when TWW launches both guilds and Mythic raiding will be cross realm from the start so realm really doesnt mean that much I would still recommend a full/high pop realm overall though just for a better experience

PvP server seems "low pop" because: *it doesn't have HC challenge or other leveling challenges *it doesn't have a Chinese population If you were to remove HCers and the Chinese from the PvE realm, the servers would be rather close in population.

So my main server is part of a connected realm with 8 servers, is considered high pop on the launch screen, and is ranked 39th in population on WoWProgress. The total population of 8 servers across both factions is about 5500 players. A top half connected realm is so small that it would be considered worth abandoning on Classic.
