Because in my opinion rayllum will become canonical. 1- The characters have a lot of chemistry between them, in fact during the show we see them tell themselves laughing jokes. 2- as we know one of the themes of dragon prince is racism and what better way to break down prejudices than with a love story between a human and an elf.

Jul 24, 2023 · The rest though, i dont feel the sincerity from Rayla because she never admitted and apologized she hurt Callum by leaving him. Because of that the Rayllum feels one-sided. Also the scene after whole Finnegrin's situation was perfect for writers to show how Rayla first hand makes sure Callum is okay, but instead they show her cuddling with her pet.

I felt very strongly about my interpretation of Aaron's words and from my point of view it really sounded like they were gonna go more platonic than romantic, but I've been told by the man himself that this is oversimplified.

Delenn's Minbari clan was against their marriage but ended up accepting it using a very old (never ever used anymore tradition). (If I recall correctly marriage was used to cement peace between warring clans.)
