The Ruf CTR (Group C, Turbo Ruf) also known as the CTR Yellowbird or simply Yellowbird, is a limited-production, high performance sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Ruf Automobile.

For the first time, the superior two-seater is based on a carbon fiber monocoque completely developed by RUF; its type abbreviation CTR is reminiscent of the legendary “Yellowbird”, the first RUF biturbo coupé, which thirty years ago astonished the world of super sports cars.

The Ruf CTR Anniversary is a high performance sports car manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Ruf Automobile. The vehicle made its debut at the 87th Geneva Motor Show in March 2017, exactly 30 years after the original Ruf CTR was introduced, and is built to pay homage to that model.

The CTR Anniversary is a rebirth of the iconic CTR1 “Yellowbird”. Based on RUF’s own carbon monocoque structure, RUF is the only manufacturer in the world producing a vehicle with carbon monocoque chassis, a manual transmission, and rear engine layout.

At the time Ferrari’s F40 was the car to beat, with a top speed of 201 mph, but RUF rocked up and blew the competition away, by reaching 211 mph on the banked oval track.

The rear-wheel drive mid-engine coupe is very flat and has a low center of gravity. The rear axle construction has horizontal spring / damper units. The highest level of expansion is the CTR 3 Clubsport, which has a particularly sporty appearance thanks to additional wheel arch extensions and a rigid rear wing made of carbon.
