Oooh I've played on a modded Valheim MMORPG before and it was one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Just having towns and locations dotted around the map made the world feel so alive.

Jun 28, 2022 · Extremely immersive for story, throwbacks to KOTOR, and nailing down most common MMO mechanics while experimenting with things like no auto-attack. I was loving how the focus on RPG elements did not take away from more competitive minded players. A great balance there. Something I think most modern MMOs fail miserably at.

I would prefer 1st or 3rd person perspective, but am open to other suggestions if the game is good enough. No POE/WoW/Anime/Divinity Something like Wildstar would be sick even if it’s single player.

An RPG is a game where you play a particular character & build them up over time, tracking advancements, leveling up, getting loot, progressing through a story, etc. All your single player Final Fantasy games, Pokemon, Elder Scrolls & Diablo games are RPGs. Diablo, as noted before, also has an online multiplayer mode.
