This RCA CTC-7 color television makes a fine companion to my other two "roundies," the 1954 CT-100 and a 1962 CTC-11. It was built in 1958, four years after the path breaking CT-100 and four years before the CTC-11.

Jan 24, 2016 · RCA Worthington CTC-7 Model 21-RC-8995 Color Television. This television was acquired from the Estate of Ed Reitan who passed away earlier this year. The set was auctioned off at the annual Early Television Convention last month.

Jul 26, 2017 · The restoration of the RCA CTC-7 Worthington is completed. Mike Doyle brought the two chassis’s, master control panel and remote back today. After reinstalling everything, we double checked the emissions of the 21CYP22A CRT.

So, I ran into a bit of an odd situation today as I was plugging away at recapping my CTC-7N. Cap C735 in the color oscillator section is shown on both the Sams and RCA schematic as a .47 MFD / 200 V. What’s actually in the circuit is two caps in parallel: A .047 / 200 V and a 40 MFD / 25 V.
