R2-A6 was an R2 series astromech droid[1] of the R-series[2] produced by Industrial Automaton.[1] During the invasion of the planet Naboo by the Trade Federation, it served as the personal astromech unit of Ric Olié, who considered his astromech a good luck charm.[6]

R2-A6 is a green-trimmed astromech droid who was assigned to Ric Oile's N-1 starfighter during the Battle of Naboo. Like many pilots, Olie has a superstitious streak; while he hasn't forged a real friendship with his astromech R2-A6, he does consider the droid a good luck charm.
