Plan to arrive minutes before your appointment. This allows time for registration and assessment. Surgery in the Clinic is done under local anesthesia (freezing), or with local anesthesia AND IV (intravenous) sedation (medication to relax you). This is not the same as being put to sleep for major surgery in an operating room.
