Feb 12, 2021 · The kanji used for elf is actually 妖精 (yousei), which often does get translated as "fairy," but not in Berserk. That's because Miura clarified it via furigana to be pronounced as エルフ (elf), and why he named their home as Elfhelm, not Fairyhelm.

Most likely it is implied Puck is indeed the elf but it isn't 100% confirmed. You just have to add up the details yourself to see. I remember Puck saying he was with travelling performers a while ago. There aren't many elves in Midland, so it probably was him. R.I.P. Judeau.
