Eligible residents will receive a 12-month Fair Pass discount programmed onto their PRESTO Card Number. Fair Pass clients will save $1.20 on the TTC adult fare for a single ride and $32.75 on a TTC adult monthly pass.

The Fair Pass Transit Discount Program is a City of Toronto poverty reduction initiative to help make TTC and Wheel-Trans more affordable for low-income Toronto residents. The Fair Pass discount is programmed onto a PRESTO card number and saves cardholders 36% on TTC single adult fare rides and 21% on TTC adult monthly passes.

If you have multiple fare types (e.g. Adult, TTC Fair Pass & GO Post-Secondary Student), you'll be charged the transit agency specific pricing when using that agency, and for all other transit agencies you'll be charged the universal fare type that you've set on PRESTO in Mobile Wallet.

To pay your fare, you can tap your physical PRESTO card, PRESTO in Mobile Wallet, tap your credit/debit card, buy an E-ticket or pass, or buy a paper ticket. You use the same ticket, pass or card whether you take a GO train, a GO bus, or a combination of both for your trip.
