This is a comment about the care and service I have received from him and the quality of the product. I started with a lengthy conversation by phone with questions about everything related to shooting glasses.

May 25, 2018 · I was at the Grand last year looking for lenses for Post 4. Nobody had the color I was looking for, but at the Morgan Optical store he showed me that Randolph Rangers fit very nicely in the Post 4 frames. So I bought what I needed. The bottom shape is ever so slightly different but the important part where they connect to the frames is the same.

Mar 10, 2025 · I stand corrected, my apologies. Tom is the one I always remember seeing at shoots for Morgan, so when I started seeing him with L&M I figured Morgan just absorbed L&M. Additionally it seemed that Morgan started carrying Pilla right about the time Tom went to L&M. Seems there was some sort of falling-out based on the tone of the post below.

Jan 27, 2025 · Will post pics of the 8 (took 4 shots from Over, 4 from Under) patterns as time permits. Yes, and the trigger is excellent, no creep whatsover, forgot to bring my Wheeler Gauge. Next is 35yd patterning before shooting trap next weekend, weather permitting. It was 0F with wind chill (35mph wind gusts). I think she's a keeper.

Mar 22, 2024 · Explaining to them how a hard left, on post 5 is a straight away bird. I will have them shoot 5, and then move to post 4. getting the feet where they need to be. Basically going thru the 5 posts backwards, so the angle gradually increases. After they have done that exercise, i always make sure they hit one on each post before they move.

Mar 29, 2025 · Ranger Sporters sound like your best bet, but just to reiterate, Pilla makes 2 types of inserts; a plastic one that clips into the browbar, similar to many others, and a semi-rimless one that replaces the nose pad mount in the post. That set up can be set to sit farther out on the face so no worries about lashes or fogging.

Jan 2, 2025 · Threw 9 charges of each. First charge dumped back into the hopper. Wrote down the weight of the other 8 throws. Discarded the lightest and heaviest charges. Totaled the remaining weights, divided by 6. My results are Thunderbird shot who says their shot is 4% antimony, the average turned out to be 433.4 grains of weight.
