Apr 9, 2025 · Poliwag has newly developed legs that are poor at walking and no arms. It has a long, thin tail surrounded by a light-blue, semitransparent fin. Its tail makes it a powerful swimmer.

The swirl on its belly is its insides showing through the skin. It appears more clearly after Poliwag eats.

Poliwag (Japanese: ニョロモ, Hepburn: Nyoromo) (PAUL-lee-wag[1]) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is so soft its organs are actually visible. It also has trouble walking on its feet due to its lack of arms which causes it to be unbalanced.
