Apr 3, 2021 · The Pizz or El Pizzo, was one of the most notable artists of the American Lowbrow art movement. He was born into an Italian family in Orange County, California, and started drawing for alternative comic magazines in the 1980s.

He is considered one of the most influential artists of the Lowbrow Art scene and the Tiki Revival. He had an impact on both artists and collectors with his particular brand of what some have termed "Cartoon Expressionism." For a time, The Pizz worked with Tiki Farm as their Art Director.
