Dec 12, 2019 · I, too, started to get pixelation issues out of the blue. My signal comes from Xfinity and was split 3 ways through a old Cable Vision splitter. On the Tivo line, I added a 9 DB CommScope In-line cable simulator (a fancy attenuator) and a Moca filter (to filter out higher frequency signals). That helped, but it didn't solve my pixilation issue.

Aug 3, 2007 · Yes, I had the pixelation problem both before and after the software upgrade using direct cable connection (no cable cards). Since then, cablecards have been installed, with the same pixelation problem. Regarding whether this is a "disaster" or not, I do think its extremely important they address this in some way soon.

Apr 28, 2022 · Now I am getting pixelation/macroblocking on all channels. Just every once and a while (10-15) times a night, maybe? Called Tivo and they said to use an attenuator because my signal strength was too high (100% Signal with 45 SNR) Tried a 10db attenuator and it knocked it down to 94 signal and 37 SNR and still had problems.

Dec 14, 2020 · I have a new Tivo Edge OTA purchased 11/27. I am experiencing pixelation on recording playback only. The pixelation is not present when the same show is watched live. I have called Tivo and done some troubleshooting. Diagnostics shows that the channel being recorded has an 86 to 88 percent signal strength, 32 to 34 SNR and no RF errors.

Sep 29, 2007 · With all of the issues that have plagued the Series 3 and THD, namely the pixelation issues, has there been any talk of a Class Action Lawsuit? I am so frustrated at paying $800.00 for an S3, $12.95 per month, and regular cable bills and suffer from unwatchable channels due to the pixelation.

Oct 26, 2013 · Over the past week, my Series 3 (the one with the LED front panel) has been experiencing pixelation issues on EVERY station. This applies to both recorded shows and live TV. Sometimes it is just annoying, other times it makes the shows unwatchable. I have replaced the hard drive a few years back so it isn't the original drive.

Support, supposedly the level that acts as go between for customers and engineering, as my issue regarding pixelation was escalated to engineering. Here is whats I was told: 1. 8.17b was meant to fix slot 2 issues as well as a large portion of people's issues related to pixelation.

Oct 20, 2009 · Pixelation and freezing are only occasional on a few SDV channels I watch, both SD and HD. I would think a bad HDMI cable would cause more trouble than that but ..... ? I have an identical HDMI cable that I use to connect a DVD player to the TV and the video is rock solid perfect with that source.

Sep 29, 2017 · The pixelation issue was only happening on the Roamio on live TV and not streaming, previous recorded or if Started recording Live on the XL4 and watched the recorded stream real time. I went through 4 or 5 Cable cards including swapping.
