The Panhard EBR (Panhard Engin Blindé de Reconnaissance, French: Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle) is an armoured car designed by Panhard for the French Army and later used across the globe, notably by the French Army during the Algerian War and by the Portuguese Army during the Portuguese Colonial War.

The Panhard EBR was a French convertible 4x4/8x8 armoured car of 1952 featuring an oscillating turret with 75 to 100 mm guns.

The Panhard EBR ETT was an APC derivative of the 1951 famous 4x4/8x8 French armoured car of the cold war. Tested but not adopted by the French Army, 28 were purchased in 1958 by the Portuguese.

The Panhard EBR has its origins in a pre-war design, the Panhard 201 with a 37mm gun. It was an eight-wheeled vehicle which could run as a long wheelbase four-wheeler if the wheels on the second and third axles, were raised clear of the ground.

The EBR by French company Panhard is easily recognisable by its osculating turret, much like that of the AMX-13 tank and 4 of its 8 wheels being solid metal.

EBR stands for Engine Blinde de Reconnaissance, which literally translates as Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle. Panhard started work on a new EBR in 1937 in order to produce a vehicle with greater mobility than the 4x4s then in French service, with the first prototype being produced in 1939.
