Palm was an adult female SandWing who was introduced in Darkness of Dragons. She fled the SandWing stronghold after attempting to elope with Prince Smolder, and after several years of living as a fugitive within the Kingdom of Sand, she was killed by a falling piece of skyfire.[1]

Smolder is an adult male SandWing prince who was introduced in the epilogue of The Dark Secret. He was allied with Burn during the War of SandWing Succession. He currently resides in the SandWing stronghold and keeps a pet human he named Flower.

Palm decoyed her sister Prickle, tricking the guards into arresting her, and putting her into prison till this day, slowly driving her to insanity. Later on, Palm would be killed by a piece of skyfire, but that will only be crucial later on.
