Great sounding, funky Paia FatMan analog mono synth. 2 vcos Low pass filter ADSR envelope Midi In/Thru CV etc. I did not assemble this kit, so cannot vouch for the build quality, but have owned it and used it regularly for several years and it's never let me down. Missing a few knobs, and there's a dent on the back of the chassis.

Other than that, the instructions are flawless and PAiA is more than generous with help and free replacement of any parts delivered in bad or non-working condition. Advantages: Price. You won't find more bang for the buck. All parts and instructions are included. (not the solder).

The PAiA FatMan is unlike other analog synths because it is based around one main concept - you build it yourself (DIY). So in addition to offering quite nice analog sounds, it gives you a chance to delve into synthesizer construction, and this can really help you learn more about how these things work.

Paia FatMan analog monophonic synthesizer! The FatMan is a fantastic and underrated DIY synthesizer that was first released in the early 90’s. This particular unit is in very good shape and sounds excellent.
