Jan 24, 2024 · Yes!! I saw the video on YouTube with the president of PSA and with the engineers..that came up with the idea. Too bad it won't be available for 10-12 months 😔. I am going to buy one for sure. They may have the extended PSA Rock 5.7 mags available before the gun isn't released. I want to in the meantime buy 5.7 x 28 ammo .

Jan 23, 2024 · The PSA “Vuk” rifle is something I’m super interested in. Why? Well it’s a mesh between the AK521 and the Jakl. It takes some of the design principles of the 521 such as the gas system and then incorporates the Jakl BCG which is already AK like.

The idea behind the gun is great. One thing that needs to be stated is that Magpul did not approach Bushmaster with a fully fleshed out idea that Remington fumbled. They essentially showed up with drawings on a napkin and some molded parts and Bushmaster had to do the rest.

You have to figure out the thread pitch for each country of origin/manufacturer and try to find a suppressor mount that matches. Or get a DeadAir Wolverine. Still, barrel concentricity is likely to be an issue. I would wager PSA will thread the VUK in a standard thread pitch like 5/8x24 and the the threads will be concentric to the barrel.

The vuk doesn’t appeal to me because I already have a jakl (or most of one). The vuk doesn’t make a ton of sense to me, it’s got a jakl upper, and ar controls for the safety selector. Other than the rock and lock mags, I don’t see how it’s that different from a regular jakl other than presumably not having a mag release.
