Dec 7, 2021 · Hey all, I had my peepers lasered with the PRK procedure a few months back. Before then, I was definitely lurking in the subreddit to gauge stories and what not. Unlike the vast majority here, I had a far longer than expected recovery time which definitely had me worried for a …

I can work perfectly fine. But I honestly have alot of l moments daily where I just hate how I’m seeing things. I guess it could be worse I could be blind. But sometimes I wanna go to the lasik center and yell at those bastards. Prk isn’t a replacement for glasses. lasik/prk is just a surgery that makes your vision mid and your night vision ...

Aug 27, 2021 · PRK will take longer than lasik surgery to heal. I would want to say take leave for 2 weeks at minimum to be honest, but up to you and what your doc suggest! I probably went back to work 3 weeks later, but it was still a little blurry. I vlogged bits and pieces of my PRK experience so I remember how things went for the first few months

Oct 29, 2023 · Customized (wavefront) lasek (PRK rather than transPRK). I'm getting it done at FYEO in the Netherlands. Jun 30, 2016 · The differences of LASIK and PRK in a nutshell: LASIK: Surgeon creates a flap in the cornea, lasers in the eye, closes the flap, you heal up in a day and you're good to go! PRK: Surgeon scrubs away the cornea, lasers, and your cornea grows back. So yea, PRK is more painful and the recovery takes longer.

Mar 25, 2023 · Hello! I had PRK last week on 3/15/2024 in Toronto and have had a positive experience so far. I found others' recovery logs super helpful in preparing myself mentally, so I thought I'd share my own as well. This is going to be very long because I'm an anxious/neurotic individual, and others like me might find these details useful.
