Evidence to the contrary is that four English spotters were given tours of the base; they were close enough to record the 1-inch-high block numbers under the cockpit and recorded seeing a blue color in their notebooks.

May 3, 2018 · Waiting until february when the decals finally arrived, I saw Dana´s explanations on the real "Lou IV / Athelene" - just in time NOT to paint the already prepared oliv drab! I´m fascinated by the dark blue/green and so I did a mix of "dark sea blue/FS 15042" lightened up a little with "blue/FS 35109" from the ModelMaster range.

Apr 2, 2018 · The P-51 flaps are very peculiar in that both sides are concave. In order to reproduce this feature AND at the same time, keep the trailing edge razor-sharp, Revell decided to mold the flaps in one single, hollow part. An original and bold move. Of course there are some slight sink marks.
