Aug 24, 2024 · A circa 1930 Sterling, and two circa 1932 QMC Group III 4x4 army trucks are in our photo. The QMC Group III was a 4-5 ton 4x4. 1932 was the last year the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps would build the QMC models. Hamish had this first. Thanks to Mike Lusher for our WAI photo. Our 2nd image shows the very similar QMC Group IV 6-7 ton 4x4.

Sep 1, 2024 · Everyone who said FWD take a bow. This is a 1926 FWD Model BF 4x4 tractor. With the full rear fenders I'm going to guess this FWD once pulled a hook and ladder. Hamish had this first. Our photo was posted to the ATCA webpage by the owner, Ron Brazell.

Jul 21, 2023 · My dad was deer hunting buddies with Charlie Trautwein and would visit the shop often. He was amazed by the series of belts and pullies that ran all of the machinery. Lathes, drills, mills, grinders and polishing wheels, you name it, were all run off belts that ran to the ceiling. This was old-world craftsmanship at its finest.
