Ōgizawa Station (扇沢駅, Ōgizawa-eki) is an Electric bus station located in the city of Ōmachi, Nagano, Japan, nestled below the Great Northern Alps operated by Tateyama Kurobe Kankō. Ogizawa Station is one of two starting points for ascending the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route – the other being Tateyama Station on the Toyama-side of the mountain range.

If you're traveling from the Nagano side, the Alpine Route starts in Omachi, and the closest transport hub to the route is Ogizawa Station. Take the Oito Line from Matsumoto to Shinano-Omachi Station.

On the Nagano side entrance in the northern part of the Northern Alps is Ougisawa in Omachi City. It is also the starting station (Ougisawa Station) of the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and it is very crowded with tourists during the summer.

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Toyama and traverse the Alpine Route to Ogizawa. From Ogizawa, take a bus to Nagano and return to Tokyo by the Hokuriku Shinkansen. The entire trip is covered by the Japan Rail Pass except for the Alpine Route itself.

Including transfer and sightseeing times, it takes about 6 to 7 hours to pass through the Alpine Route from Tateyama Station to Ogizawa Station. For return trips such as those between Tateyama Station and Kurobe Dam, about 8 to 9 hours is required.
