Oatey Regular Clear PVC Cement contains Tetrahydrofuran, Acetone, PVC Resin, Cyclohexanone, and Methyl ethyl ketone.

Apr 23, 2022 · The Oatey web site for this product type has a video using primer, but it's just some generic video. I understand that primer is necessary for plumbing PVC because it's important to have a high quality watertight seal, but that is not as important for electrical conduit.

Aug 8, 2019 · After the Kerdi goes in, I would pour the final slope for the shower floor and tile overtop. I like the Kerdi product for my walls because of the pre-fab niche, and lightweight materials and smaller board sizes that are available. I really don't see any videos of people installing Kerdi board with an Oatey membrane.

Mar 21, 2016 · I am using Oatey purple primer with Oatey medium gray pvc cement. This is a 2 inch PVC pipe job for pool pump to filter. I have a joint where I applied purple primer then realized I am not ready for the fitting so I need to leave it overnight. This fitting is to an ABS filter valve.
