OPI accepts payments by check, cash, money order and via online payment. Payments should be mailed to P.O. Box 1035, Canyon, Texas 79015 or may be delivered to the OPI office at 504 24th Street in Canyon during business hours .

Roberts County, Texas, land owner and philanthropist T. Boone Pickens continues to benefit OPI and help Panhandle youth attain the educational opportunities to pursue their dreams. Gifts from the Pickens Abraham Foundation have provided almost $1 million in OPI scholarships for students graduating from Canadian and Miami high schools.
Student Loan Application - OPI - Opportunity Plan
Currently, OPI student loans carry a low fixed interest rate of 6%. As long as a borrower is enrolled full-time, interest does not accrue, and payments are not required. Payments with interest begin 90 days after graduation or the last full-time enrollment in classes.
