May 7, 2022 · Agryna's helmet has Dinh's helmet vibes though, too, which is pretty interesting. I picture I like an evolutionary tree, lol. ODST splits into Helljumper, then to Firefall. ODST splits into Nightfall. ODST splits into Dinh's helmet which splits into Agryna's helmet. ODST, in my opinion, also splits into Gen 2 Recruit, which splits into Cavallino.

Dec 11, 2021 · Odst armor was like an armored space suit, mjolnir however is more like a powered exoskeleton with tank plating much more powerful. Only Spartans can wear mjolnir because it would kill anyone else. Buck was an odst so wore that armor until he became a spartan. His armor does have some odst traits but is still very much mjolnir gen 2.

The older encyclopedia appears to suggest that the Alpha Nine designs from ODST are actually indicative of the different niches an ODST can fill (demolitions, sharpshooter, etc), rather than being personal designs and this seems to be somewhat reinforced by the Fireteam raven designs and armor.

Whilst Nightfall is a bit too clunky, cartoonish and disproportionate for my liking, Buck's Helljumper variant is a really nice suit of armor and a classic knock to the ODST designs of old (such as Halo 3: ODST's, probably my favourite variant of the bunch.)

Sep 30, 2020 · So I could bet that, the variation of armor, is just that, variation, each armor could fulfill different roles or porpuses, just the same way Alpha-9 had different armor pieces on them for their different roles (being Dare the most notable example with a Recon helmet, way different from the Air Assault or Standart ODST helmet)

The ODST armor on the Mark Vb is built to Mjolnir standards, which basically means it's a titanium-A plated armor slapped onto the Mjolnir's undersuit in the shape of ODST armor. All Mark Vb armor attachments are considered up armor, meaning it goes on top of the existing armor. The helmet itself is an ODST helmet made to Mark Vb standards.
