Nissan and Italdesign have created a new prototype vehicle – the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign – in their first-ever collaboration. Based on a production 2018 Nissan GT-R NISMO model, the unique car commemorates the 50 th anniversaries of both the GT-R and Italdesign and will make its debut in Europe next month.

Dec 23, 2024 · In addition to a specially tuned VR38DETT twin-turbo V6 engine rated at 720 horsepower (some 120 horsepower more than the “standard” GT-R of the time), the Nissan also features several GT-R50-specific components that include specially-tuned Bilstein dampers, exclusive 21-inch wheels and reinforced engine plus drivetrain components.

The Nissan GT-R50 features a bold exterior, a pronounced power bulge on the hood, and a lowered roofline that enhances its muscular stance. The design includes prominent GT-R “samurai blade” cooling outlets, a wide track, and custom 21-inch wheels.
